BRINGING VICTOR HOME

In Joan Jara's garden in Chile, a song came into my mind: "I Thought I Heard Sweet VÃctor, Singing ... " VÃctor Jara had been tortured and murdered for the beauty and power of his songs, by Pinochet's men during the 1973 coup that overthrew the elected government of Dr. Salvador Allende, orchestrated and supported by Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger.

Here, torture survivors, Chilean musicians and a couple of us Brits, are recording the Spanish version in the very VÃctor Jara Foundation in Santiago, Thank you, Everyone; it was beautiful.
