A Letter from our Founder

​

     Hallo, my name is Pexy. I'm a wee dog rescued from the streets. Now I can say I have a good home and my owner loves me very much.

    I was just about three months old, in a terrible state. Really knocked about in a pretty bad way. Nothing to eat, I thought I was going to die, but now! They rescued me, gave me

medicines and now I'm right as rain and so happy! Just look at my before and after photo above.

   I have this lovely life alongside these people who really love me, and I just want to save more dogs (and even cats) who are how I was before so they too can feel love.

   Everybody deserves a second chance in life (even stinky cats!), so we hope this little project, Pexy to the Rescue, will flourish and grow. Please help  us by donating here to build a wee shelter, pay veterinary and other cots, and to provide a small stipend to our workers.

Pexy to the Rescue! is rooted in the personal experience of project coordinator Vanessa Peulevé and of her dog, Pexy. Both were mistreated and abandoned when very young. Showing great courage always Vanessa managed to get ahead in her life and studies, one day finding her beloved Pexy bloody and beaten.on her way home. Now, at nineteen, having suffered so much herself, she finds that any abandoned creature makes her cry. "Tears are fine," she says. "But we have to do something. Here in Nicaragua dogs and cats have a pretty hard time. Maybe we can't save every little animal, but we'll give it a good shot!"

Vanessa Peulevé, y de su perrita, Pexy. Ambas fueron maltratadas y abandonadas cuando eran 
muy jóvenes. Mostrando gran coraje siempre Vanessa logró avanzar en su vida y sus estudios, un día encontrando a su amada Pexy ensangrentada y golpeada en su camino a casa. 
Ahora, a los diecinueve años, después de haber sufrido tanto ella misma, descubre que 
cualquier criatura abandonada la hace llorar. "Las lágrimas están bien", dice ella. "Pero 
tenemos que hacer algo. Aquí en Nicaragua muchos perros y gatos tienen las vidas muy tristes. Tal vez no podamos salvar a todos los animales pequeños, pero vamos a darle un gran esfuerzo!"

Hola mi nombre es Pexy, soy una perrita de la calle, ahora rescatada puedo decir que tengo un hogar y un amo que me quiere. yo tenía aproximadamente 3 meses. Estaba en muy malas condiciones recibí mucho maltrato estaba en muy mal estado. No comía pensé que no iba a vivir más, pero me rescataron me medicaron cuidaron y hoy soy feliz. Tengo una vida hermosa al lado de personas que me quieren, y me gustaría salvar a mas perritos gatos como lo era yo para que logren experimentar lo bonito que es el amor. Todos merecemos una segunda oportunidad en la vida - por eso queremos ejercer y que crezca mucho el proyecto PEXY AL RESCATE
